Prayer is Effective
“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of him” (1 John 5:14-15).
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).
“…The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective” (James 5:16).
“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints” (Ephesians 6:18).
“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express” (Romans 8:26).
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).
“Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
“When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures” (James 4:3).
The Teachings of Jesus
- “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him” (Matthew 6:5-8).
- “To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everybody else, Jesus told this parable: ‘Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood up and prayed about himself: “God, I thank you that I am not like other men-robbers, evildoers, adulterers-or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.” But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, “God, have mercy on me, a sinner. I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted”‘” (Luke 18:9-14).
- “‘Have faith in God,’ Jesus answered. ‘I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, “Go, throw yourself into the sea,” and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins’” (Mark 11:22-25).
“And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it” (John 14:13-14).

kung ako ang papipiliin ng song number sa palagay ko we are the reason ang kakantahin ko….
it brings back the memories noong im an unbeliever…
hayyy naiiyak nananaman ako…

ang tagal tagal ko na kasing nabubuhay….
ngayon ko lang nalaman na may nagmamahal saakin….

3 beses na akong umiiyak…
hehehe parang engot…
pero when kausap ko si mommy….
nagpasalamat ako sa kanya,,,,sa lahat…
ng mga bagay…na nangyari sa buhay naming magkakapatid….
nagpasalamat ako sa pagaaruga at pagtitiis!
ewan ko…
thanksgiving naman ngaun ehh..
hindi naman nya birthday…
pero naisip ko….
kailan ko pa sya pasasalamatan…
pag wala na sya…
life is to short…
sa mga may artraso saakin,…
salamat….
kase…. wala ako dito kung wla kayo….(iyak…)
parang nararamdaman ko na….
pagnagkamali pa ako..
parang isang failure sa inyo…
alam ko this song is written not only for me…
para saatin ito…

paano tayo makakapaglingkod kung hindi natin alam na may nagmamahal saatin….

nung nakita ko si mommy umiiyak…para bang hindi ko na rin mapigilan…
kase para bang ang hirap ng buhay….
nararamdaman ko rin yun…
nakikita ko kase sa kanya ang pagmamahal ng dyos saatin…
na kahit na sobra sobra na ang paghihirap
pinakita pa rin nya ang pagmamahal sa atin…
….. hay mama talaga….
iniisip ko na isang araw ibang kamay na ang hawak ko…
kaya sasamantalahin ko muna ang mga sandaling hawak ko ang nanay ko…
isang araw magiging ama ako…
wala talagang katumbas ang pagmamahal ng dyos para saatin…
salamat sa dyos dahil
he is a God of many suprises
kaya i will do whats right…
kahit na it will take anything to me…
this is not my life…
this is not my journey…

Last sunday our Pastor set us a fellowship
and yet kala naman namin para sa mga newcommers like us ang fellowship
and im so excited kc syempre maymamemeet kami mga bago tulad namin…
at yun na nga…
pinapunta kami ng Pastoral staff office…
sabay lunok…
nagulat kami kase…. nandun ang singles department…
sabiko sa sarili ko…
ano meron?!!?!?
i was so blessed dahil para saamin pala yun fellowship na iyon…
geezzzz…
talaga naman sabi ko….
dumating na rin ang time na nasabi ko
this is home…
we had a great time…
tawa tawa…
sharing secretssssssss
sharing life with the lord…..
….
in this world that is so fast…
communication….internet…Life…
minsan napapasok sa isip ko na
minsan sa sobrang bilis ng takbo ng buhay natin,,,
we forgot na we have God and Family….
God created this world to glorify his name…
this life is not about us…
its about God…
….
now sa tingin ko natututo na ako…
to accept things..
nangyayari ito dahil may iba pang purpose si God sa akin….
alam nya na masyado akong nagmamadali sa buhay….

A Woman’s Faith
(Mark 7.24-30)
21Jesus left and went to the territory near the cities of Tyre and Sidon. 22Suddenly a Canaanite woman [c] from there came out shouting, “Lord and Son of David, [d] have pity on me! My daughter is full of demons.” 23Jesus did not say a word. But the woman kept following along and shouting, so his disciples came up and asked him to send her away. 24Jesus said, “I was sent only to the people of Israel! They are like a flock of lost sheep.”
25The woman came closer. Then she knelt down and begged, “Please help me, Lord!”
26Jesus replied, “It isn’t right to take food away from children and feed it to dogs.” [e]27“Lord, that’s true,” the woman said, “but even dogs get the crumbs that fall from their owner’s table.”
28Jesus answered, “Dear woman, you really do have a lot of faith, and you will be given what you want.” At that moment her daughter was healed.
-The intensity of the perseverance-
Maiging pagusapan ang FAITH
- Its one soteriological blessing
- Not all people have Faith (in God)
As Believers,we are Predicted by Faith
- Measured-“according to your Faith
- Motivated-“without faith,it is impossible to please him”
- Marked-“the just shall live by Faith”
Definition of faith
- Spiritual by nature-And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him-Hebrews 11;6
- Substantial in form-Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.-Hebrews 11;1
- Source of life-But my righteous one will live by faith.
And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him-Heb 10;38
-Why Persevere in Faith?!
- Active Faith-Keep on believing what is the truth
- Passive Faith-Has a Belief but not moving
PERSEVERANCE-to keep on something despite of difficulties
What paid off the perseverance of the Syrophenician woman?!
- Notice what this woman represents to us?!
ANSWER!!….. “Sudden Appearance of problematic people”
5 Facts To The Problem
- Every human being has a problem(check the cemetery for exemption=))
- Every problem has a STAND (it will stop someday)
- Every problems hold a spiritual or positive realities (Problems can become a source of blessing)
- Every problem will change you
- You can choose what your problem can do for you
People saddened by problems need
